Gene Melton Driskell, 66, of Peach County, GA died Sunday, March 3, 2013 in Perry, GA. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Nathan L. Smith and Pastor Dwayne Evers will officiate. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery.

A native of Albany, GA, born to the late Arthur McCray Driskell and Lillian McCraine Driskell, he had resided in Peach County the last thirty years moving from Sylvester, GA. Mr. Driskell was a member of River of Light Church of God and was preceded in death by three brothers, Johnny Driskell, Gene Driskell and Dick Driskell and a sister, Ruby Bryan.

Survivors include his sister, Barbara A. Smith and her husband, Lowell of Byron, GA and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday one hour prior to the service at Mathews Funeral Home.
