The Kiwanis Club of Dougherty County on July 23 made a $500 donation to “Operation One Voice.” Designed by police officers and firefighters, Operation One Voice is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to raising funds and awareness for the financial needs of the children and families of wounded and fallen Special Operations Forces soldiers, the elite of our nation’s military. Accepting the gift on behalf of O1V was Kiwanian Ben Lockett (left), from club president Todd Butler.
