Atlanta—The State Board of Cemeterians met on Tuesday, February 15, 2011. The Board approved the following orders to accept fine money:
- Cremation Society of the South LLC, Marietta: $500 for unlicensed practice.
- Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Inc., Newnan: $500 for unlicensed practice.
- Satilla Memorial Gardens, Waycross: $250 for failure to submit a certified copy of cemetery plat in compliance with Board law.
The Board approved the following 2011 Board meeting dates:
- Tuesday, February 15th
- Tuesday, April 26th
- Tuesday, June 28th
- Tuesday, August 23rd
- Tuesday, October 25th
- Tuesday, December 6th
The State Board of Cemeterians will hold its next meeting Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards Division in Macon.
