“A Special Evening of Gospel Music!” will be held beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Liberty Parkway Church of God, 1501 Schley Ave., featuring The Perrys, Jeff and Sherri Easter, and Wilma Smith. The Perrys are three-time Mixed Group of the Year award winners. Jeff and Sherri Easter are regulars on the Gaither Homecoming videos, and recently received the Dove Award for 2010 Song of the Year. Berea Full Gospel, 1111 Fifth Ave., will have a yard sale beginning at 7 a.m.
Gospel music is on tap beginning at 7 p.m. at Spence Field Maule’s, 2099 S. Ga. Hwy. 133 in Moultrie. Performing will be The Charging Times of Adel and The Palmers of Albany. Admission is free; a love offering will be taken for the groups.
Family Worship Center, 3024 Kensington Court, will kick off Vacation Bible School with a picnic at 10 a.m. There will be games, food and singing with special guest The Fun Razers along with the Praise and Worship Team. - WHAT: First Baptist Church of Albany, 145 Oakland Parkway, will hold its Vacation Bible School with the theme, “Saddle Ridge Ranch.” The five-day event will be preceded by a 5 p.m. snack supper. VBS will begin for 3K completed-youth at 5:30 p.m. and adults at 6:30 p.m.
