Atlanta – Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp today encouraged Georgians who are preparing to provide public comment at the Secretary of State’s Elections Advisory Council meeting in Albany to preregister on the Council’s website at www.sos.ga.gov/GAEAC. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at 10 a.m. at the City/County Government Center, 222 Pine Avenue, Albany, GA.

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia Board of Funeral Services met on Tuesday, May 10, 2011.

The Board voted to approve one apprentice license, two embalmer licenses, two funeral director licenses, two funeral establishment change of name requests, and five changes to funeral director in full and continuous charge of funeral establishments.
