Herald’s Hetzler only giving part of the story
Tweet The publisher of The Albany Herald ran a column yesterday taking aim at WALB’s General Manger, Jim Wilcox. Wilcox apparently signaled the demise of the print newspaper and offered up WALB as an alternative to print media. Publisher John Hetzler was apparently not amused.

Tweet Yesterday, news broke that another newspaper in Albany was going to put more of a focus on their web product. Oh, they’ll still print a daily paper. They’re just printing in Tallahassee now. However, their new emphasis on the web is just another example of that paper following the Journal’s lead.
