When it comes to style, it’s no question that much of the world is influenced by the portraits that music paints. It’s almost impossible to have one without the other. I mean, think about it, if certain brand names weren’t continually validated (or endorsed, to be p.c.) by some of our favorite musicians, would we ever rock them?
It’s a no-brainer. The answer is no — like it or not! Who knew that record labels would become the most impacting fashion stylists ever? It’s like they have the fashion industry on strings like puppets. Now, that’s not to say that without music, there would be no iconic style anywhere.

With “retro” making its presence felt heavily in 2010, the image of the stylish man is in the polishing phase. Edgy, but sincere. The shadows have been lifted and the stage is set for the unveiling of a new and improved gentleman. I’d like to call it “an old dog learning new tricks– the classic styles of decades prior, meeting a more relevant-to-now elegance. It’s been long awaited for the double-breasted suit to make an official comeback to Wall Street, and with the well wishes from economists and the feds, it will change the way we do business…the suit, that is. Bold is no longer single.

In the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life, it is not uncommon for one to feel as if there are not enough hours in a day. There are those of us who are master multi-taskers who eat carpe’ diem for breakfast and dodge lemons at lunch. Then, there are those who can’t seem to do enough without feeling unaccomplished. Well, let’s put our time on a scale and instead of weighing it in pounds, let’s try value. Of course, the level of importance differs per person but it should be a fairly easy to transpose.
