Albany – Today’s story is also anonymous, and again comes from a second generation bullying victim.  This looks like an interesting area for study by experts, as we see a fair number of bullying victims coming from parents who were bullied.  It was forwarded to us from the Justice for Dustin Facebook page.

I am now a 31 year old mom to an 8 year old boy. I was bullied as a kid by a girl twice my size. It hurt and to this day I still remember everything she ever did to me.

People need to learn and understand just how much bullying impacts those being picked on. It takes its toll and unfortunately there are tons of people who don’t see that. Schools everywhere know bullying is an issue and refuse to do anything about it. There are policies in place but the policies mean squat when they aren’t enforced.

I pray for your strength to get through this difficult process and know that Dustin’s death will not have been in vain. We all speak for him as he can no longer speak for himself.
