Albany – Tabata Bootcamp™ is an 8-week program that combines high-intensity interval training with behavior modification for healthy eating. Participants in Tabata Bootcamp™ often report significant results with weight loss and overall health. Participants in Tabata Bootcamp™ can take advantage of: three 30-minute group workouts per week; online tracking of eating and activity; regular fitness assessments; motivational small group atmosphere; practical nutritional guidelines that are designed to help participants make permanent lifestyle changes; website access to over 50 workout videos for home use and helpful nutritional tips; oversight and analysis from a local, trained and certified instructor.
Tabata Bootcamp™ will take place January 27-March 21, 2014 at the Albany Area YMCA Central Facility, 1701 Gillionville Road, Albany. Exercise classes will be held Monday, Wednesday & Fridays from 10:30-11:00 a.m. at theYMCA.
Anyone interested in finding out more about Tabata Bootcamp™ is invited to attend one of two free informational sessions scheduled at the YMCA. Certified instructor, Julie Michas, will be on hand to answer all questions. Tabata Bootcamp™ is being led by Julie Michas. Michas holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Science Education and a Master of Science in Health Science Education from University of Florida, and has been a fitness instructor for over twenty years. She is certified as a group fitness instructor through American Council on Exercise, and is certified as a Tabata Bootcamp™ instructor.
