Albany State University will recognize 50 of its best and brightest graduates under the age of 50, at 5 p.m. Sat. Dec. 7, in the Student Center Ballroom located on the campus. The keynote speaker for the event is Mayor Dorothy B. Hubbard, a 1970 ASU graduate.
The inaugural edition of the “50 Under 50” publication, which was released this fall, highlights young Golden Rams excelling in career fields such as medicine, education, logistics, forensic science and more.
Other speakers for the evening include Dr. Bisa Batten Lewis, a 1995 and 1997 ASU graduate, and Grady L. Caldwell, III, a 2002 ASU graduate.
“The 50 ASU alumni who will be recognized represent stellar examples of what Golden Rams are all about, excellence in every aspect of their lives,” said ASU Vice President for Institutional Advancement Clifford Porter Jr.
