Michelle Moulton Joins YMCA as Indoor Cycling Instructor

 Michelle Moulton joins the Albany Area YMCA as an Indoor Cycling Instructor. Her classes will begin November 1st at the Central Facility, 1701 Gillionville Road. Moulton is an Albany native, who has taught group fitness for 24 years. She has been certified as a Spinning instructor for almost ten years. Moulton is Albany’s only Category 1 female cyclist and the Director of the Pecan City Pedalers Race Team. She is the 2012 Georgia State Road Race Champion, the 2012 Georgia State Time Trial Champion and the 2012 Georgia Championship Series Winner. In 2013 she finished second behind her teammate in the 2013 Southeast Regional Series Overall Championship.

Moulton will lead Winter Training Sessions once a week for cyclists to train indoors during the winter months on Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30 p.m. She will also lead Endurance Ride classes Thursday evenings from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and Friday mornings from 5:30-6:30 a.m. All of these classes are designed to replicate outdoor rides.

All of Moulton’s classes are free for YMCA members. Non-members may participate with a Fitness Class punch card, available for purchase at the YMCA membership desk. For more information, call the YMCA at 229-436-0531, ext. 216.
