Albany -  Approximately 20 area clergy and lay-persons were special guests of the Kiwanis Club of Dougherty County at the club’s annual Clergy Appreciation Luncheon on November 25. The keynote speaker, Kiwanis DoCo’s own Larry Price, commended the pastors for the role they play in bringing God’s Word and offering guidance and wisdom through their ministries and “the encouragement that keeps us on track.” Each clergy-person was also allowed to tell a brief humorous or inspirational story derived from their experiences in the ministry. All the guests received the gift of a year-long book of daily devotional messages entitled “Jesus Calling”.
