Two other programs will be available on demand on Saturdays, depending on staffing, at the Visitor Center.

In addition, the annual Christmas on Chesser Island will be held on Saturday, December 14, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sponsored by the Okefenokee Wildlife League (OWL), the festival will showcase the homestead transformed into a storybook setting with traditional homemade decorations and luminaries. Stay warm by the bonfire while enjoying homemade cookies, hot chocolate, and cider. Join the Roddenberry Sisters in singing Christmas carols.
