Junior League of Albany, Ga, Inc. Offers Grants for Teachers Grants to Benefit Local Educators

(ALBANY, GA)- The Junior League of Albany, Georgia, Inc., is once again offering grants for innovative teachers during the 2013-2014 school year. The program will provide grants up to $200 to individual teachers in Dougherty County, Lee County and independent schools in the City of Albany. These funds will be awarded for proposals that offer innovative ideas in supplementing the classroom curriculum based on:
• Creativity and innovation
• Benefits to the students
• Efficient use of grant funds
• Adaptability of project for use by other teachers
Applications are now available online at www.jlalbany.org. Applications are due November 1, 2013 and winners will be notified by January 15, 2014.
