DoCo Kiwanis Installs New Officers

A new slate of officers and directors for the Kiwanis Club of Dougherty County in 2013-14 was installed at a special banquet Monday night, September 30, at the Hilton Garden Inn. Pictured (l-r) are directors Erin Whatley and Ken Rodd; Immediate Past President Gail Carter; Secretary Tommy Gay; Vice-President Kristin Caso; President-elect Alan Greer; and President Lance Barnes. Not pictured are Treasurer Bill McDaniel, and directors Richard Brown, Rob Collins, Price Corr, Ann Owen, and Tim Thomas. The inductions were conducted by Greer Cox of Thomasville, Division 5 Lieutenant Governor, who succeeds the Dougherty Club’s Ken Rodd. Officer and director terms began October 1 and will continue through September 30, 2014.

The Kiwanis Club of Dougherty County presented two prestigious Kiwanis International Hixon Awards to the husband-and-wife team of Dorene and Lamar Parker for their record of service to the club and Kiwanis in general.

The guests at the 2013 Installation Banquet for the Kiwanis Club of Dougherty County filled much of the banquet space at the Hilton Garden Inn for dinner and awards.
