ALBANY – Darton State College welcomes Rebecca Dodson, an emerging theatre director and technician with previous directing credits such as Kenneth Lonergan’s This is our Youth and Becky Mode’s Fully Committed. Dodson is excited to make her directorial debut at Darton State College in the Darton Players 2013- 2014 season with The 39 Steps and states, “it is a wonderfully comedic mystery spy thriller based on the original Hitchcock movie. It is full of action including: espionage, murders, a chase on a train and even a plane crash; and of course you can’t forget the romance.”
Dodson invites the community to experience the adventurous laugh out loud comedy, THE 39 STEPS, adapted by Patrick Barlow from the novel by John Buchan and from the movie of Alfred Hitchcock. Performances are November 8th and 9th at 8:00 p.m. and November 10th at 2:30 p.m. on the 2nd Floor of Darton State College’s Student Center (C266).
