As Albany State University alumni return to the campus to celebrate homecoming activities, many will visit former professors and classes to speak to students. On Friday, Oct. 18, ASU College of Business graduates Crystal King, Senior Manager of Philanthropy for JCPenney, and Sonique O’Neal, founder of Bella Donna Handbags LLC will tell their stories and share words of wisdom with business students and faculty at 1p.m. in Peace Hall Room 121.
King is a 2002 ASU graduate with a B.S. in marketing and a 2012 graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington with an Executive MBA. She also holds a graduate certificate in Asian Business Studies from the University of Science & Technology Beijing and Tongji University, Shanghai.
The breast cancer survivor of 9 years currently manages JCP’s charitable giving efforts, serving as the liaison for the company’s non-profit partner.
O’Neal, an ASU 2012 marketing and entrepreneurship graduate, currently resides in North Hollywood, CA and is pursuing a management career in fashion design and wardrobe styling. O’Neal’s fashion portfolio features many well-known celebrity and entertainment clients such as Red Grant, Jae Murphy, Estelle, Jaleel White, Earth Wind and Fire, Claudette Ortiz, Bobby Church, Amanda Stoer, Madisin Rian, and Vivian Kindle.
