Albany Downtown Sertoma Club Supports Education

By   /   October 4, 2013  /   Comments

by Jawahn Ware, ADS President

The Albany Downtown Sertoma Club (ADS) will be presenting a check to the Dougherty County School System Friday, at 1:30 p.m, October 4, at Dougherty County Middle School. The donation will be used by 10th grade teacher Christen Taylor to help further the educational needs of over 200 Dougherty High students.

Sertoma stands for “service to mankind,” and what better way than supporting our local students. ADS already has another partnership in place with the Dougherty County School System to provide scholarships to hearing impaired graduating seniors moving on to higher education.

Please feel free to attend tomorrow’s presentation.
