DoCo Kiwanis Club

The original banner from 1952 and a replica of its original charter are back in the hands of the Kiwanis Club of Dougherty County, thanks to long-time members Dorene and Lamar Parker. The couple purchased the banner, which had been offered in a silent auction at one of the club’s Christmas parties, and with some repairs made to it, they presented it as a gift at the club’s annual officer/director installation banquet on September 30, with the stipulation that it always remain in the club’s possession.
