ALBANY – The Lady Cavaliers fell to the Georgia Perimeter College Lady Jaguars, 2-0, Friday, at home.

It was the first loss of Darton’s season. The No. 13-ranked Lady Jaguars scored the eventual game-winner late in the first half, and then scored again late in the second to seal the shutout.

Darton had several good buildups and the Lady Cavaliers played hard before a crowd of chanting students, but for the first time this season they were unable to score.

Darton, ranked No. 5 in the NJCAA, is now 8-1 overall and 4-1 in conference play. The Lady Cavaliers will host Andrew College at 6 p.m., Tuesday, as their conference schedule continues.
