ATLANTA – Mega Millions and Powerball are rolling ahead with strong jackpots for Tuesday and Wednesday’s drawings. Mega Millions has swelled to $105 million for Tuesday’s drawing, and Powerball continues to climb with its jackpot at an estimated $245 million for Wednesday’s drawing.
The Mega Millions jackpot has grown since July 30 and has rolled 11 times.
Mega Millions offers two jackpot payment options: approximately $4 million a year for 26 years with the annuity option, or a single payment worth approximately $71 million with the cash option.
It only takes $1 to play Mega Millions for a chance to win big. Players can multiply prizes with the Megaplier option for an additional $1 per play.
Wednesday’s estimated Powerball jackpot for a single annuity winner is $245 million.
The jackpot has grown since Aug. 10 and has rolled nine times.
Powerball offers two jackpot payment options: the $245 million annuity prize paid over 29 years in 30 graduated payments; or the cash option, which is approximately $136 million.
Powerball tickets are $2 per play. Players can add the Power Play feature for an additional $1 per play to increase non-jackpot prize winnings.
As with all other Georgia Lottery games, proceeds from Mega Millions and Powerball will benefit education in the state of Georgia.
