Georgia DOT and Local Leaders to Host a Public Forum on the Jefferson Street/Liberty Expressway Project Public Invited to Attend and Have Questions Answered Concerning Project Milestones

The Georgia Department of Transportation, County and City Officials will host a Public Forum on Tuesday, September 17 beginning at 5:30 p.m. The intent of this forum is to inform the public of upcoming project milestones and impacts to traffic. An overview of the project will be presented along with project milestones and lane closure restrictions. A brief Question and Answer period will be held after the presentation.

The Georgia DOT enjoys having this opportunity to reach out to the community and address motorists concerns.

The Georgia Department of Transportation continues its RoadWorks 2013 construction program. Dozens of important roadway improvement projects are ongoing throughout the state as we work to deliver projects on time and on budget while keeping our transportation network the nation’s finest.
