COLUMBUS – Alejandro Garcia’s offensive threat was unstoppable Sunday. The sophomore from Coral Springs, Fla., scored a hat trick to ensure Darton’s 3-1 conference win over Georgia Military College in Columbus, Ga.

Garcia has scored eight goals in six games, which puts him among the top five goal-scorers in the NJCAA. He’s also given four assists and has scored two game-winning goals. He has 20 total points, which ranks him 4th in the nation.

He and the Cavaliers are now 5-1 overall, undefeated in GCAA play (3-0) and ranked No. 6 in the latest national polls.

They’ll host Thomas University Reserve tomorrow at 6 p.m., and travel to Allendale, S.C., to play USC Salkahatchie at 4 p.m., Saturday.
