MACON, GA – On Saturday September 14, 2013, Congressman Sanford D. Bishop, Jr. (GA-02) will join the Georgia Department of Community Affairs and Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Middle Georgia, Inc. at a community-wide Home Help Resource Fair on the Macon campus of Central Georgia Technical College. The fair is designed to give current homeowners and potential homebuyers access to representatives from homeownership programs, credit unions, banks, local non-profits, and federal organizations that can assist participants with questions about home financing needs. The fair will also provide various homeownership resources including personal credit report analyses, budgeting seminars, and information on qualification for the ‘HomeSafe Georgia’ program.
