Applications accepted for Hometown Harvest Pageant

Applications are being accepted for the Hometown Harvest Pageant slated for Saturday, October 5 at LCHS Clay Auditorium.  And this year the program will be adding a Harvest Prince for boys ages 3-5 and the Harvest King for boys ages 6-10.

The age divisions are as follows:  Petite Miss and Prince division 3-5 years of age, Little Miss and Harvest King 6-10 years, Junior Miss 11-13 years and Teen Miss 14-18 years.  There will be one overall People’s Choice Award winner for the contestant who raises the most money for the Lee County Junior Miss Scholarship program.  Contestants are asked to wear blue jeans and their favorite dressy top for the competition.  Winners will be presented at the Lee County Hometown Harvest Festival scheduled for January.

The pageant will be Saturday, October 5 at 7 p.m. at Lee County High School and is hosted by the current reigning Lee County Junior Miss Madison Daughtry and Leesburg Junior Miss Courtney Shirley.

Applications and information is available at the main office of Lee County High School during school hours, or by e-mailing Dotty Davis at davisdo@lee.k12.ga.us or Kathy Walker at walkerka@lee.k12.ga.us The entry fee for the pageant is $25 and is due by October 3.  A rehearsal will be held for contestants on October 3 at the high school.
