The 100+ Mile Peanut Pickin’ Yard Sale will be held on Saturday, October 12,
2013 from 8am-6pm. The route will follow Highway 33 from Cordele through
Sylvester, Moultrie and Berlin, and 333 into Quitman. Vendors will feature
everything from antiques to homemade products to yard sale items. Yard sale
sites will range from large multi-organization sites to individual sales
along the route.

The purpose of this event is to promote the region and provide an
opportunity to showcase Quitman-Brooks County to visitors. Individuals and
organizations are asked to use this as a fundraising opportunity.

Yard sales may set up along the route on private property. Vendors and
individuals not on the route are invited to set up in the main marketplace
on the courthouse square for a fee of $20. Applications are available for
pickup at the Quitman-Brooks County Chamber of Commerce 220 E. Screven
Street in downtown Quitman or by emailing lbasford@brookscoda.com. Call
(229) 263-9085 with any questions.
