ATLANTA – Georgia Lottery players across the state have won large prizes playing Powerball, including three $1 million prizes and six $10,000 prizes from Wednesday’s massive $448 million jackpot drawing.

Winning tickets with $1 million prizes were sold in Peachtree City, Stockbridge and Pooler. Tickets with $10,000 prizes were sold in Rising Fawn, Augusta, Columbus, Duluth, West Point and Athens.

One winning ticket worth $40,000 was sold in Savannah.

Since the Powerball jackpot began rolling June 26, five winning tickets worth $1 million and 15 tickets worth $10,000 were sold across Georgia.

Powerball generated $9.9 million in profit for lottery-funded HOPE Scholarship and Pre-K programs since the jackpot began rolling June 26.

The jackpot for Saturday’s drawing is an estimated $40 million to a single annuity winner.

Winners in Georgia have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes.

Winning numbers from Wednesday’s Powerball drawing were: 5-25-30-58-59 and the Powerball was 32.

Powerball tickets are $2 per play. Players can add the Power Play feature for an additional $1 per play to multiply non-jackpot prize winnings.

As with all other Georgia Lottery games, proceeds from Powerball will benefit education in the state of Georgia.
