Among Ms. Calhoun’s beliefs are that the city of Albany deserves a strong spirit of cooperation and a focus on the future and wants to serve the city of Albany by looking out for the welfare and the wellbeing of the citizens of the city at large, helping to safeguard the budget, help create a safe environment by stopping the violence. In addition, Ms. Calhoun will try to research ways to create economic development, asn well as focusing on special training in service related job to have exceptional customer service skills and focusing on good education, attractions, and entertainment for our young people of all ages are available.
Cheryl Calhoun is the wife of Randal Calhoun and mother of four children and grandmother of 13. A native of Sanford, Florida, she is graduate of Albany Technical College where she majored in Supervision and Management. She also has served as a Red Cross volunteer and a Dougherty County School Bus Driver.
