Mr. David R. Bullington, 77 of Cordele Rd. in Albany died April 13, 2013 at Sylvester Nursing Home in Sylvester, GA.

Funeral services were held Monday April 15, 2013 11 AM at Kimbrell-Stern. Rev. Richard Parker officiated. Interment was held at Riverside Cemetery.

Born in Dougherty Co., GA Mr. Bullington was a longtime member of East Albany Baptist Church where he served as former Deacon. He owned and operated Bullington Cabinet Shop for 35 years on Cordele Rd. Mr. Bullington loved fishing and country music. In his early years Stonewall Jackson a country music recording artist in the 1950’s lived with him. Mr. Jackson invited Mr. Bullington to go with him to make his first album.

Mr. Bullington will always be remembered for the love he gave to his family, especially his grand and great grandchildren.

Mr. Bullington was preceded in death by his son, David Alan Bullington.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley J. Bullington of Albany, Daughter, Kathy J. Lauminick and her husband Glenn P. of Albany, granddaughter, Michelle Reynolds and her husband Thomas of Leesburg, great grandchildren, Wesley and Olivia Reynolds, a sister, Gladys B. Sentell of Sylvester.

The family received friends Sunday April 14, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kimbrell-Stern.
