Cavs enter final round in 4th place today

PENDLETON, S.C. – The Cavaliers are in fourth place as they enter the final round of the NJCAA District IV D-1 Golf Championship, today, in Pendleton, S.C.

Darton shot 586, Monday, which positioned them 16 strokes behind leader Brevard Community College. Wallace State shot 579 to finish the first two rounds in second place, and Central Alabama shot 574 to take third.

The top eight teams today will qualify for the national championship tournament in Lubbock, Tex., May 14-17.

Tae Kim lead the Cavaliers, Monday. He shot 72-71 to finish 1-over and tied for seventh.
