Mrs. Jean Seigler Pace, 86 of Albany died March 10, 2013 after an extended illness.
A drop-by celebration of life gathering will be Wednesday March 13, 2013 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Turtle Hill, 2700 N. Jefferson St. Albany, GA.
A native of Albany, Mrs. Pace was a member of First United Methodist Church and owner of Pace Florist for 40 plus years. She was a 1943 graduate of Albany High School and attended the University of Georgia. She was Past President of the Georgia State Florist Association and the Southwest Georgia Florist Association and was a member of the Jr. League of Albany. She was an FTD floral commentator, traveling across the country and to Canada for shows.
Mrs. Pace was preceded in death by her husband, Jim B. Pace and her sister, Frances Seigler Harrell.
Survivors include her daughters, Rani Pace Bailey of Albany, Cindy Pace Harris of Leesburg, Dimi Pace-Williams (Thomas) of Albany, Fortune Pace McKenzie (Steve) of San Antonio, TX, her son, Jimbo Pace (Kay) of Albany, eight grandchildren, Curi Bailey Ahrens, Pace Bailey, Crissy Harris, Micki Williams, Justin McKenzie, Levi McKenzie, Ashton Pace and Parks Pace, and seven great-grandchildren.
