Dothan, Ala. – Freshman outfielder Riliani Familia clubbed two home runs to carry the Darton State College Cavaliers to a 12-3 win over Wallace State-Dothan at Dothan, Ala., in seven innings.

The Cavaliers blew out Wallace-Dothan thanks to 15 hits, including eight extra base hits. Darton State scored five runs in the sixth thanks to a solo home run by Familia, a steal of home by Cody Wofford a three-run home run by Rashad Billups.

The Cavaliers hit four home runs in the win. Kyle Conkle homered in the third inning to light the fuse before Billups and Familia sent a total of three more over the wall.

Casey Moody recorded the win for Darton State. He allowed two runs, with one earned over four innings. Moody struck out five, walked one and gave up three hits.

Wofford, Conkle, Billups and Familia combined for 10 hits and seven RBIs.

Darton State moves to 10-4 and welcomes Lake Michigan CC for a three game set at beginning at 6 p.m. today.
