Special to the Journal
Albany, Ga – During a 2010 Press Tour the Albany Convention & Visitors Bureau hosted a travel writer on a culinary experience of a lifetime. Now, Glenn Kaufmann’s experience is featured in Points North Atlanta Magazine for all to see in his article, ‘Home Again: A Southern Boy Rediscovers His Taste Buds in Albany, GA’ (page 46).
Enjoying food and beverages from the likes of Aunt Fannie’s Checkered Apron to Riverfront Bar B Q to Henry Campbell’s and Elements Coffee to Still Pond Winery and more, Kaufmann truly experience Albany’s and Southwest Georgia’s culinary diversity.
But Kaufmann didn’t just stop at food; he also included a list of non-food attractions including Chehaw, Radium Springs, Flint RiverQuarium & Imagination Theater, Albany Civil Rights Institute and Albany Museum of Art.
Points North’s monthly circulation is 70,000 copies per month, and with distribution racks strategically placed throughout Atlanta’s Northside, free copies of the magazine are easy to locate.
