Louise Kirkland Sleep Holman

Louise Kirkland Sleep Holman, 91 of Albany, died January 12, 2013 at Morningside Assisted Living in Albany.

Funeral services will be Tuesday (TODAY) 11 AM at Crown Hill Cemetery. Dr. William D. (Biff) Coker officiating.

She was born November 12, 1921 in Waycross, GA. to her parents the late Mr. & Mrs. George M. Kirkland, Sr. Mrs. Holman lived most of her life in Albany, and was a Charter member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. She worked for the Veterans Administration for seventeen years & was a member of various Veteran’s organizations.

She was preceded in death by her husbands Fred Nye Sleep and Henry Furman Holman.

Survivors include her sons, William Sleep (Beverly) of Austin, TX; Robert Sleep, Albany, Ga.; Thomas Sleep (Clark Bowers), Atlanta, Ga.; and Daughters Sherrill Mobley (Robert), Richmond Hill, Ga.; Patricia Frame (David) Roswell, Ga. and eight grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, sister Betty K. Strickland (Ronald), Marietta, Ga. and Sister in law, Carol F. Kirkland, Albany, Ga.

The Family will received friends Monday from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kimbrell-Stern.

In lieu of flowers, those desiring please make memorials to Willson Hospice House, 320 Foundation Lane, Albany, GA 31707 or Covenant Presbyterian Church, 2126 W. Edgewater Dr. Albany, GA 31707.
