Lois Clower

Mrs. Lois Clower 92, of Albany died January 9, 2013 at Willson Hospice House in Albany.

Funeral services will be Saturday 11 AM at First Free Will Baptist Church. Rev. Billy Hanna officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens.

A native of Colquitt County, GA Mrs. Clower has lived most of her life in Albany, where she was a 1941 graduate of Albany High School and a longtime member, over 50 years of First Free Will Baptist Church. Over the years Mrs. Clower has worked at Bob’s Candy Co., Lane Drug Store and Hillcrest Grocery. Mrs. Clower was a member of the Golden Key and the Woodmen of the World. She will always be remembered for her hard work, dedication and love that she gave to her family.

Survivors include her husband, James Raymond Clower, Sr. of Albany, daughter, Frances Evelyn Clower Reaves and her husband Ronnie of Donalsonville, GA, sons, Ray Clower, Jr. and his wife Lula of Warner Robins, GA and Max Randall Clower and his wife Lynne of Albany, grandchildren, Ray Clower, III of Warner Robins, GA, Randy Clower and his wife Christina of Forsyth, GA, Matthew Reaves and his wife Stacy of Leesburg, GA Davis Reaves of Crawfordville, FL , Rebekah Clower Williams and her husband Shane of Albany, Rachel Clower Freeman and her husband Terrance of Jacksonville, FL and Caleb Clower and his wife Bobbie of Evansville, IN, 17 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Directors, and will be at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Max Clower, 4810 Marlborough Ave., Albany, GA 31721.
