ASU’s Center for the African-American Male to host Winter Youth Summit

Albany, Ga. – Continuing its commitment to educate young males of “Generation Next” Albany State University’s Center for the African-American Male will host its 5th annual Winter Youth Summit Friday, Jan. 25 at 9:30 a.m. in the Albany State University HPER Gymnasium.

Sixth-grade boys from Dougherty County and surrounding areas are expected to attend the conference.

ASU Chief of Police John Fields will be the keynote speaker. The conference also includes sessions focused on education which will take place in the ACAD Auditorium. Health and Wellness sessions will be held in the HPER Gymnasium.
