YMCA offers Adult Basketball Leagues

Albany, Ga -The Albany Area YMCA is offering Adult Basketball this winter with Open Play and Corporate Play categories. Registration is December 21 – January 4, with Late Registration held from January 5-11. Season begins January 20. Teams of up to 10 players will play on Sundays and Wednesdays at the YMCA Central Facility on Gillionville Road.

The Open Play category has leagues for 18 & up and 35 & up. In the Corporate Play category, all team members must be age 18 or older, and must work at the same company. A playoff tournament will be held with the first place teams receiving championship t-shirts, a team trophy, and a free 1-month YMCA membership for every team member.

The cost of entering a team is $250 for YMCA members (all players must be members of the Y) and $300 for non-members. There is a $50 late fee assessed for teams that register after January 4.
