David Robbins, of Lee County died Friday, December 14, 2012 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
His funeral service will be Monday 11 AM at Philema Road Baptist Church with interment in Riverside Cemetery. Pastor Dan Harris will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday 3 to 5 PM at Kimbrell-Stern.
A native of Bridgton, Maine, Mr. Robbins had lived in Albany for the past 41 years. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and retired from the Albany Police Department. After retiring he served as a Court Security Officer with the Federal Court system.
He attended Philema Road Baptist Church. He also served as a coach for many years at 8th Ave Ball Park.
Survivors include his wife, Rhonda G. Robbins, Lee County; daughter, Ginger R. Karrick (Steve), Lee County; sons, Ben Robbins (Brittany), Ashburn, Chris Robbins (Donna), Hot Springs, Arkansas; brother, Bob Robbins (Ann), Bridgton, Maine; sisters, Edeena Barker, Lewiston, Maine, Iris Osgood, Bridgton, Maine, Judy Brown, Alfred, Maine; sister in law, Sal Robbins, Harrison, Maine; grandchildren, Miles Robbins, Alicia Karrick, Elijah Robbins, Joseph Karrick, Reagan Robbins, Maria Karrick, Kimmie Karrick, Libbie Karrick, Opal Karrick, Nicholas Barnes and numerous nieces and nephews.
