Christmas Ornament Revealed

(ALBANY, GA)- Easter Seals Southern Georgia announces the official ornament of the city.  The beautiful Easter Seals collector’s item ornament depicts “Christmas in Albany,” a must have for your tree this holiday season!  The official name of the ornament is “A Visit from St. Nicholas.”

Easter Seals Southern Georgia provides direct services to children and adults with disabilities on a year round basis.  By offering this ornament to Albanians, proceeds will benefit the numerous children and adults served by Easter Seals Southern Georgia.

The ornament is the 21st in the Easter Seals series and is made of 24 carat gold plate over brass.  They are numbered and packaged in a holiday gift box; all you need is a bow before adding this one-of-a-kind ornament to your tree!  The design this year is very special to the organization.  For the first time, it depicts a young girl with special needs accepting a gift from Santa. A decorated Christmas tree is featured in the background.

Help support to this project to assist those in need this holiday season.  “We are so proud of this longstanding Christmas tradition,” says Beth English, Executive Director of Easter Seals Southern Georgia, “the ornament really will add something special to your tree; it is wonderful to see everyone coming together to support our organization during the season of giving.”
