You may have seen the posters in many locations in Leesburg about the Cross Cultural Revival we have scheduled for November 8 through Saturday, November 10. It has also be advertised on the radio and in the Lee County Ledger. If you missed all of that so far, it will be at 603 Hwy 32 East in Leesburg at Jacob’s Ladder each night at 7PM.
We have various music ministries of local congregations come in to Cross Cultural Musique every Saturday night at 7:00. One such church has come to share the ministry of their church on a few occasions. The pastor of that church also leads the music team. He presented me with an opportunity that the Lord had impressed upon him. Pastor Robert Goodbread of Abundant 6Faith Fellowship presented me with the idea that what we are doing with Cross Cultural Masque may be a very good idea to do with a revival setting.
These are some of the plans. Pastor Horn of the Liberty Expressway Church of God is going to do the opening night’s preaching on Thursday. The music for the evening has yet to be determined. The preaching Friday night will be by Pastor Dan Harris of Philema Road Baptist Church. Friday night will also be featuring the Christian Motorcycle Association, of which Dan Harris is a member. They will be in charge of testimonies and music. We’re just going to call it “Bikers’ Night.”
On Saturday, long-time radio personality, newspaper writer, and sports announcer, Sonny Lofton, will give his testimony of being saved at just such an interdenominational revival as this. He cannot remember one since he gave his life to Christ at just such an event. The speaker of the evening will be Pastor Robert Goodbread.
Dr. Charlie Rouse of The Medicine Man’s Corner, will bring a brief word probably for each night. There will be special music by The Hood Family, Grafted-In and some others to be announced. On Saturday, November 10th, we will have The Jordan Family for the normally scheduled Cross Cultural Musique event at 4 PM instead of 7 PM. They are from North Georgia and are under a tight schedule.
