ASU Sports Media director passes away

By   /   November 25, 2012  /   Comments

It was with a heavy heart that Journal staff learned of the passing of Edythe Bradley, sports media director for Albany State University.  WALB reported her passing earlier today, stating that Bradley had been sick for some time with an undisclosed illness.  ASU athletic director Dr. Richard Williams would not confirm Bradley’s death.

Bradley was a constant source of information about the athletic department at Albany State University.  She provided much of the Journal’s sports content for the last year.

“I was shocked,” said Journal publisher Tom Knighton. “I never got the chance to actually meet Edythe face to face, but she did her job at ASU so well that it helped me do my job.  On behalf of the Journal staff, I’d like to offer my condolences to her friends and family.”
