Albany Housing Authority to share plan

The Albany Housing Authority is in the final stages of preparation of the Transformation Plan for the McIntosh public housing development and its surrounding neighborhood, now to be known as “The Oaks at North Intown”.

A meeting has been scheduled for 2 PM on November 13, 2012 at the fellowship hall of Hines Memorial Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, located at the corner of Madison Street and Roosevelt Avenue, to present a view of the draft Transportation Plan to the partner agencies who have been involved in the development of this plan.

A second meeting will be held at 6 PM the same evening at the Hines Memorial Christian Methodist Episcopal Church fellowship hall to present the draft Transportation Plan to the broader community and to those who could not attend the earlier meeting. This meeting is open to anyone who has an interest in the revitalization of The Oaks at North Intown neighborhood.

Following the preview of the draft Transportation Plan, the Albany Housing Authority will be receiving comments from the audience to be considered as the final version of the plan is developed.
