The Candlelight Vigil is an annual event that honors survivors of domestic violence, and raises awareness of domestic violence in the community. Join us as we mourn for the 69 lives that were taken by domestic violence in Georgia, celebrate the tremendous progress victim advocates have made over the years, and connect with one another with a true sense of unity to end domestic violence.
Reflecting the increasing awareness of domestic violence in our communities, what began with the Kickoff Luncheon and Butterfly Release on October 3rd, concludes with our Candlelight Vigil at Veteran’s Park Amphitheater.
On October 25th we begin with our Silent Witness walk from the parking lot of the Department of Family and Children Services to Veteran Park Amphitheater. The event is open to the public and free of charge. Join us to show your support for domestic violence survivors. We’d love to see you there!
