School has started and more than 2000 children are studying hard in grades K-12 at the virtual charter school, Georgia Connections Academy. This is a free, completely online public school offering students and their families flexibility in getting a state certified education.
700 parents, students and educators gathered at Metro Atlanta to kick off the school year, and another 400 met with Georgia Connections teachers and families in visits across the state.
This free charter school is open to enrollment from all Georgia counties, and this summer treat was a sign of things to come: Each month, the virtual school organizes social events and field trips across the state. Find out more at www.GeorgiaConnectionsAcademy.
