The fierce Albany ARC (Advocacy Resource Center) Special Olympians are taking on an Olympic feat! They are going to the Atlanta airport on October 20 to pull a FedEx jet across the airport tarmac!

 The Arc of Georgia is hosting a Plane Pull fundraiser on Saturday, October 20th at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. 9:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M.

 Teams of 25 volunteers will pull a FedEx 727 Airbus 12 feet as a charitable fundraiser to support The Arc of Georgia.

This is fun-filled event for the entire family with food, music and activities for children. There will even be a NASCAR race car on display at the event!

 The Arc of Georgia advocates for the rights and full participation of all children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Arc is a non-profit (501-c-3) membership organization with 25 chapters located throughout Georgia. The Arc is the oldest disability advocacy group in the United States. Together with our local chapters, we advocate for positive changes for people with disabilities and their families.

FedEx is proud to support The Arc of Georgia by providing a plane for their Plane Pull fundraiser and has been supporting plane pull events around the country for nearly 20 years. FedEx has been an instrumental force in assisting The Arc of Georgia to host a successful event.
