ALBANY – The Darton State College golf team has opened registration for its ninth annual fall fundraiser. The four-person scramble is scheduled to begin Friday, Nov. 2, at Stonebridge Golf and Country Club in Albany.

Teams will be comprised of three entrants plus one Cavalier golfer or pro. There will be two tournaments – a morning tournament scheduled to begin with a shotgun start at 8 a.m., and an afternoon tournament with a shotgun start beginning at 1 p.m.
Tournament entry includes a door prize ticket, mulligan, cart, range balls, lunch and beverages. Fees are $140 per player, or $420 per team.
“We had twenty five teams last year,” head Darton golf coach Bill Jones said. “The money we raise goes toward our team travel costs, so we’re shooting for 30 or 35 teams this year.”
In each tournament, prizes will be awarded for first and second net scores and first and second gross scores.
To register for the tournament, or to become a hole sponsor, contact Jones at William.jones.1@darton.edu or 317-6321, or go to http://cavs.darton.edu/.
