Woman shot, in ICU

Albany, Ga - An Albany woman is in intensive care today after being shot last night at 100 Wescott Street. Police say that 37 year old Taneka Porter was shot in her left side about 7:45 last night.

Witnesses report seeing a black man and a black woman leaving the scene in a Toyota Camry. Sources within the Albany Police Department would not say what the motive for the shooting may have been, nor would officials release a more detailed description at this time.
