(Albany, Ga)- Chehaw Park will host its “Thru the Zoo 5k” and “Run your Tail Off 1 Mile Fun-Run” on Saturday September 22nd. Come and race past the Meerkats, Cheetahs, Colobus Monkeys, Black Bears, and much more. The 5k begins at 8:00am, while the 1 mile run starts at 9:00am. Participants of the 1 mile run are encouraged to wear the tail of their favorite animal while they race.
After the races, stay around for the awards ceremony at 10:00am for a chance to win unique awards such as Ostrich eggs and Georgia clay medals. Registration is $25.00 the day of the race and for children under the age of 10, it is $15.00. Come race like something’s chasing you!
