First, Lorenzo Heard had to deal with a technicality with his paperwork notifying the elections office of his intent to run as an independent candidate.  The other staff member of Second Greater Mount Olive Baptist Church to try and run for the school board has hit a massive speed bump.

Earlier this afternoon, the Dougherty County Board of Elections unanimously voted that Terrence Wilson would not be on the ballot.  The reason?  Apparently, the 3,ooo signatures he submitted didn’t contain enough valid signatures.

The board will vote next week to determine whether or not Heard will be on the ballot after they review the signatures.
