Staff Reports

A passerby reportedly alerted police to a break in at Riverfront BBQ, a popular restaurant in downtown Albany.  However, in a bizarre twist, the crooks bypassed cash and went for the meat, stealing three cases.

Police, responding to the 911 call, approached the building and noticed signs of forced entry.

Police spokesperson Phyllis Banks-Whatley reported that there were still no description of the suspect or suspects.
